The locos are in Sivas, a city in the very centre of Turkey.
 
But, the team needs to transport them to the port of Izmir, 850 miles to the west. Their only option is to risk towing these decaying engines along Turkey's steep and twisting railway network.
 
But, neither loco has moved more than a few yards in the last 30 years, and the initial omens, don't look good.
