I am a multi-award winning Director, Series Producer and Showrunner, with a proven track record in high-end factual programming for the likes of BBC, Channel 4, National Geographic, PBS, Five and History.
With over 20 years experience, I have carved out a reputation for tackling big subjects, in forensic, thought provoking, yet entertaining ways.
I have worked with Stephen Hawking on the future of our species; Unlocked the mysteries of the most powerful volcanic eruption recorded by science; Discovered how archaeology is helping a city fight back from the terrors of Islamic State; Investigated what it is like to die; Shone new light on the events of 9/11; Delved into the inner workings of Black Holes; And met the people trying to save Venice from the ravages of climate change.
Equally at home directing crew or self shooting, I have crafted programmes across a wide range of styles and genres – from historic reconstructions, CGI extravaganzas and presenter led polemics to obs docs, natural history and live studio shows. While, during my work as a Series Producer and Showrunner, I have set styles and formats, on returnable programmes , and fostered close working relationships with commissioners.
