Edith Thompson was at the centre of a tragic love triangle, which scandalised 1920s Britain.
 
Her lover, Freddie Bywaters, had killed Edith's husband, Percy during a violent struggle. Despite Freddie's insistence that he had acted alone, Edith was also found guilty murder, and sentenced to hang in Holloway.
 
But did the prison overlook evidence that should have spared her life?
