Black Holes are the weirdest entities in the entire Universe – pits of extreme gravity from which even light can't escape. Places that crush space and time to the point that even time stops, forever. At least that is what we think happens.
The trouble is that the we have never actually seen one. Everything we think about black holes is based around circumstantialevidence, and Einstein's most famous theory– general relativity. There has been no direct evidence the exist - until now.
In this film, we follow the scientists who are attempting the seemingly impossible - taking a picture of black hole. Their solution? Building a telescope the size of Earth.
